We were all so pleased that many of you were able to participate in the Sanford McFarlane Family Foundation golf tournament at The Raven at Lora Bay. Thanks to your support, the wonderful weather, and of course a great golf venue, the day was a tremendous success.

Your continued support of The SMF Foundation will directly help Patrick Chan, 2009 World Silver Medalist in figure skating, in his quest for Gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Your support also goes a long way in helping with our involvement in Pathways to Education. This is a community-based, results-focused program that integrates academic, social, and financial support in disadvantaged communities. Of course, The Toronto East General Hospital and The United Way continue to be very important to our Foundation as well.

We are now looking forward to, “A Night of Enchantment”, featuring Pascal Charbonneau, tenor, Etienne Dupuis, baritone, and renowned accompanist, Michael McMahon to be held Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at The Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.
